Rumor out of The Bronx is that the Yankees recent ousting from the American League Division Series is to be followed shortly with the ousting of Joe Torre asYankees skipper, ending his twelve year run in the Yankee
dugout. Everyone knows that “The Boss” expects nothing less than a World Championship at the start of
each season. Unrealistic? Probably so. Unwarranted? Good question.

Steinbrenner has spent the better part of the last five seasons dropping mucho bucks on the games
biggest names. No one can question his motive when it comes to selling tickets, the question arises when talking
about team chemistry. What some seem to forget is that a majority of the players that Steinbrenner chooses to
don pinstripes are well past their prime. Most of these players have come from clubs where they have not been forced to share the spotlight (most haven’t even been in a spotlight close to the one that is cast in New York).

One of the best things about running our own brand is that we get the opportunity to meet other young people
from all over who share our same passion. We have received a few dope tees recently that we want to
show everyone.

The first one comes from “Award Tour” based out of New Jersey. These kids have come with a ton of energy, passion and focus and have created a great line of catchy graphic tees and crew necks. Their winter line
is due any time now and rumor has it that they have BIG things coming for spring! Stay tuned…

Next, we have a great tee from a fellow west coast brand callled “The Ropes” out of Cali. The Ropes debut
collection will consist of some great graphic tees and some DOPE snap-back caps. They were nice enough
to hook us up with this dope Mike Tyson joint before it’s even in production!

Both of these brands are run by young, intelligent cats with great focus. Expect to see much more from both
in the future!
