A questions was asked last week… How fast could you consume 30 chicken McNuggets? In a blur of 4 minutes 32.2 seconds that question was answered. In that time a champion was born. What did he do to celebrate? Slammed a Bud tall boy, and then, another. Way to go champ!

Mike Mitchell
The Dream Team is an on-going interview feature that we’ll be having from time to time here at Pennant Race. Its purpose is to give you a look into the lives of some of baseball’s up-and-coming players. You may not have heard of some of these guys yet, but there’s a good chance you will!
Our first feature interview is with Michael Mitchell, centerfield prospect for the Colorado Rockies. Mike played his collegiate ball at the University of Virginia where he established himself as a strong defensive outfielder and a major threat on the base paths. Mike was taken in the 2007 draft by the Colorado Rockies and he made his professional debut in the Northwest League last summer. We caught up with Mike before he heads off to Spring Training to begin his second professional season.
