We’re Nasty!

Here at PR we have been humbled in the last year, as we’ve gotten this little venture off the ground. We’ve received tons of support from people all over the World who share the same interests and passions as we do. It feels great to have your hard work appreciated by so many and we really want to thank all of our supporters. Without all of you we wouldn’t get to do the thing we love. We promise to keep it moving as we bring you much, much more in 2009!

One of our latest supporters really needs no introduction…

We began listening to NAS way back when he launched Illmatic, we’ve seen him in concert multiple times, and we can honestly say that he is someone we look up to. NAS has amassed an amazing resume throughout his career while always staying true to himself and HIS music. He inspires us to do the same…

We found out a few months back that NAS had come into & Still in Los Angeles and purchased a few of our pieces. After the initial disbelief wore off, we were very excited and honored that someone as huge as NAS would spend HIS money on something we put so much work into. Celebrities get boatloads of free stuff thrown at them every day, so we we’re very proud that NAS purchased some of our clothing because he actually liked it.

Just knowing that he had bought some Pennant Race items was honestly enough for us. We felt like if we ever got a chance to see him actually WEAR it, we would consider it a huge bonus… Recently NAS took the stage in San Francisco, and the rest is history.

One of our favorite pieces from the collection that you should all check out is our “Paving Customizable Tee”. This piece is discharge printed which allows you to actually custom dye the tee graphic to the color of your choice. Check out the tees we dyed below.

Here’s what we learned after dying a few tees…

• We recommend Rit dye which can be found at most fabric and craft stores. Get 2 boxes for a real vibrant dye job.

• You’ll need a bucket with 2-3 gallons of HOT water… the hotter the better.

• You’ll want to leave it in the dye for at least 30 minutes to get a good solid dye.

• Rinse  in cold water by ringing the tee out repeatedly… keep doing this until water is coming out of the tee clear and not in your dye color.

• Machine wash the tee by it self, on warm with regular detergent. I’d repeat this step twice to ensure that all access dye is removed before washing with other clothing.

• Dry it out and you’ll have yourself a custom, one-of-a-kind Pennant Race collectible to add to your collection!
