Hungry in Los Cabos Airport?
So we were in the airport waiting for our flight and getting hungry when we stumbled upon Boston Dog’s. A little slice of the Red Sox Nation in Baja Mexico.
They cook up a mean turkey dog (I recommend it with yellow mustard and jalapenos), and some damn tasty fries. Easily better than anything you could get at bugersling, or dominhoe’s. The best part (wait… actually the best part is they serve Mexican Coke made with real sugar) okay, the second best part is, it’s owner operated.
Meet Marc Kagan. He owns Boston Dog’s, loves baseball and his new puppy. Marc, thanks for the tasty food and please keep up the good work. Everyone else, if you ever in Los Cabos stop by and grab a dog or two.
In search of tacos
If there are tacos to be had, we’ll have them. Went out yesterday in search of some good tacos and we discovered a gem, Gordo Lele’s little spot. Three tables, ice cold beer, and a nice breeze come through the glass-less windows.
Red and green sauce are a must. Little limes don’t hurt either.
The tacos were legit… Simple and so good. I started to talk to Gordo’s buddy about New York and he took on an Italian accent and started calling me “Tony”. But that wasn’t the main event…
No, that was up to Gordo himself. He came from behind the grill and began to serenade the crowd. So weird, but so good. See for yourself… I think I’ll try a torta tomorrow.
Greetings from Mexico…
After a rough one on St. Paddy’s day, we are back, this time via Mexico. Been here a few days and here’s what I’ve learned so far: Mexican beer tastes better in Mexico. I don’t eat enough tacos. I can’t apply sunscreen evenly. The views are perfect, like the one above…
